About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people 🀝, solving problems 🧩, and providing exceptional service ⭐.

Whether assisting with policy questions, processing updates, or taking customer payments, this person will play a key part in delivering a positive experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support πŸ“ž

  • Answer inbound calls, emails, and customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Assist clients with policy questions, billing issues, coverage explanations, and documentation requests.
  • Support clients with claims reporting and follow-up communication.

Policy & Account Management πŸ“‚

  • Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and applications.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation in the agency management system.
  • Review documents for completeness and accuracy.

Administrative & Internal Support πŸ–₯️

  • Assist agents/producers with quoting, follow-ups, and pending items.
  • Perform general office tasks, data entry, and system updates.
  • Coordinate with agents to resolve customer issues when needed.

Compliance & Documentation πŸ”’

  • Follow all required policies and procedures.
  • Protect confidential and personal information in accordance with company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Education & Experience πŸŽ“

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience (retail, hospitality, call center, or insurance) preferred.
  • Insurance experience is a plus but not requiredβ€”training provided.

Licensing πŸ“‘

  • Must be willing to obtain required licensing if not already licensed.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, professional phone presence.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills a must.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, data entry).
