Marion County Public Schools prepares students beginning at a young age for the various career options available. Students, beginning in 8th grade, can learn about welding, machine tool technology, industrial maintenance, and computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing at Marion County Area Technology Center. Later, students can enter into apprenticeships with companies in the area while still attending high school.
