Sunrise Children’s Services One Bridge to Hope location in Springfield is looking for individuals willing to make a difference in the lives of children in need_

Must be 21 and able to pass background checks and drug test.

Job Duties include, but not limited to:

• Providing direct provision of care and supervision to clients according to agency policies and procedures, licensing and accreditation requirements.
• Creating a therapeutic environment to provide appropriate care to our clients. Functioning as a part of the treatment team and helps implement the client’s treatment plan
• Exhibiting professionalism and positive role modeling for clients, peers and outside groups/visitors.
• Promoting health care protocols to included medication administration and other medical tasks as designated by the program nurse.
• Ensuring that the client’s needs for clothing, nutrition, hygiene, rest and recreation are met on a daily basis.
• Identifying potential risk factors (in a program environment) and taking measures to reduce those risks.
• Creating a safe, secure and sanitary environment.
• Observing, defining and addressing client behavior.
• Maintaining confidentiality of client’s protected health information and complies with the HIPAA privacy rule.
• Ensuring own professional growth and development.
• Completes all required documentation and paperwork according to agency standards and requirements.
• Providing transportation to clients in care.
