3rd Shift Production Operator – Paper

American Wood Fibers (AWF) is a manufacturer of both consumer and industrial products that are sold to multiple manufacturers as well as pet, agricultural, and home-heating markets. AWF is comprised of 450+ employees and holds operations at 11 locations, generating over $100M in annual sales revenue. We are currently seeking a candidate for the 3rd Shift Production Operator – Paper role in our Lebanon, KY, facility.

JOB SUMMARY

The production employee is responsible for working in a safe, efficient manner to maximize production and shipping of products and raw material.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

I. PRODUCTION

  • Operate a machine with good hand-eye coordination at a fast pace to make rate
  • Sweep and shovel excess material around the packaging equipment and warehouse during the end-of-shift cleanup.
  • Perform outside duties, including sweeping and picking up debris

II. SAFETY

  • Exercise caution in the production area due to mobile equipment moving the finished product out of the production area
  • Attend monthly safety meetings
  • Attend safety trainings as needed and complete required testing with sufficient results

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to lift 20-40 lbs.
  • Physical capability to bend, squat, or stoop

EXPERIENCE

Industrial Machine Operating: 1 Year (Preferred)

COMPENSATION

Starting: $17.05 per hour
