Supervisor
• Reports directly to the pastor; generally accountable to the Personnel Committee
• Works closely with Director of Music Ministry
Purpose of Position
• Provide consistent, high-quality technical and media support for all worship services and church
events for Lebanon Baptist Church.
Core Duties
Worship & Event Support
• Operate and maintain systems for:
▪ Audio and monitor mixing
▪ Audio/video recording and live streaming
▪ ProPresenter and projection
• Prepare stage setup for rehearsals, services, and events
• Communicate effectively with:
▪ Pastor
▪ Director of Music
▪ Director of Worship
▪ Ministry leaders and event coordinators
Media Production
• Create and edit worship slides (2 lines per slide) in coordination with music director
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and visuals for services
• Oversee video production: capture, stream, edit, and upload content
Website & Graphics
• Design and maintain church website (events, calendars, registrations)
• Create graphics for sermon series and events
• Manage branding and monthly e-newsletters
Technology Management
• Maintain and update production and campus tech systems
• Advise on future tech purchases and oversee installations
• Keep accurate records of purchases and licenses
• Serve as liaison with A/V maintenance provider (currently JCA)
Team Leadership
• Recruit, train, equip, and schedule A/V volunteers and staff
• Ensure team readiness and delegate tasks effectively
• Train volunteers to cover Sunday services when unavailable
Expectations
• Attend all Sunday worship services and staff meetings
• Present semi-annual ministry updates and goals to pastor and deacons
• Participate in a 6-month performance review
• Be available for special events, extra hours, and on-call service (stipend-based)
• Maintain confidentiality and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Qualifications
• Active, growing relationship with God and a teachable spirit
• Experience in media/tech and basic administrative skills
• Passion for outreach through digital platforms
• Ability to train volunteers in A/V skills
• Alignment with church mission: “Loving God, experiencing grace, transforming lives”
• Consent to local, state, and federal background check and drug test
Long-Term Goals
1. Deliver vibrant, distraction-free worship services and events
2. Build a strong, rotating team of trained A/V volunteers
3. Maintain production tech at or near industry standards
4. Expand and optimize video ministry capabilities
5. Develop a modern, engaging website and visual identity to promote church events
Compensation
• Negotiable rate of compensation between $100-200 weekly, dependent upon experience and
qualifications.
