Role Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proven leadership skills by managing all aspects of the bottling lines, special projects, and printing department
- Works with the shipping, scheduling, and quality departments to assure on-time bottling production and project completion
- Manage all staffing training, discipline of the bottling, special projects, and printing department
- Maintain and submit all necessary TTB paperwork
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and report month end numbers
- Ensure label printing is appropriately staffed and that adequate inventory is maintained
- Manage the operational budget and participate in capital project design
- Supports and adhere to the job requirements for the department with regards to Quality, Food Safety, Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations and fully support the company IMS objectives and initiatives
- Other duties as indicated
Qualifications
- The candidate must embody these Leadership characteristics: Goal oriented, persuasive, confident, biased for action, flexible
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 – 5 years previous manufacturing experience, preferably in spirits or food bottling
- Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer skills
- Must work well in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize to work in a fast-paced environment
- Works well independently and with little supervision
- Excellent communication skills
Non-Essential Skills and Experience:
- HACCP experience
- SAP experience
- Quality management system experience, ideally ISO 9000
- Software knowledge: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint AS400 BPCS
