| SUMMARY:
Process routine/daily regulatory compliance tasks.
Role and Responsibilities · Assist with maintenance of RLS material specifications. · Assist with vendor approval process, material approval process and documentation maintenance including approved vendor register and ingredient register maintenance. • Assist with preparation of finish product documentation, including specifications, nutrition, allergen statements, gluten, origin, BE status, and other documents for review. • Help prepare timely and accurate product inquiry responses to both internal and external customers. • Help prepare and submit applications for kosher certification and process approvals accordingly. • Assist with review of finish product label proofs. · Assist with ingredient hazard analysis including food fraud, recalls, import, & warning alerts · Assist with research and recommend solutions for regulatory compliance concerns. • Assist with regulatory compliance projects and assignments as needed. • Maintain accurate records of work activities for monthly review. · Active HACCP Team member · Assist with review of IFSQMS process documents · Participate as IFSQMS Auditor Secondary Functions · Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing & Laboratory Practices · Assist with food safety audits (internal & third party) • Other duties as assigned Work Experience Requirements · One year of related experience preferred · Able to lift 50 pounds · Able to work with airborne dust, ingredient particles, and strong aromas
Education Requirements · High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Skills • Strong organization skills. • Ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team, in fast-paced environment and carry out multiple assignments simultaneously. • Strong desire to learn and grow. • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. • Aptitude for creative problem solving • Proficient in Microsoft Office Additional Notes Recommended Provided Training: • JF ERP System Training • AIM Bright Legacy programs • OU Direct Kosher submittals • Genesis Nutrition Software · Microsoft Teams · Relevant HACCP and Food Safety Requirements [Type any additional notes if needed.] |
