Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or 4-5 years related experience in Quality Engineering/Assurance field and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong technical skills and an understanding of statistics. Experience in plastic processing preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand. The employee
is frequently required to walk; sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms,
stoop, kneel, bend or crouch and talk and hear. Twisting of the body or neck may be required
occasionally when inspecting product. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Should be able to safely operate cranes, forklifts and other equipment necessary to perform job.
Job involves visual effort and concentration.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Accuracy.
Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Driving is required.
Mental activities necessary include manufacturing knowledge and other practical and problem-solving skills.
PPE – Safety Eye Wear, Cutting Gloves when using a knife, and cotton gloves when handling hot parts.

Work Environment – indoors in plastic manufacturing factory.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
*Due to the factory not being climate controlled, extreme heat is experienced in the summer months.
