Maintenance Technician
Interested applicants should possess an Industrial Maintenance degree or certification from an accredited college. Familiarity with forge mechanical and forge screw press is preferred but not required. Knowledge of PLC and industrial electronics as well as hydraulics and machine tools a plus.
Forge Supervisor

Facilities and Equipment Manager
Located at our Lebanon facility Responsible for overall maintenance of facilities and equipment. Coordinates work of equipment technicians. Interface with all other departments including Production, Machine, Support, and Plant Manager. Coordinate and communicate with the Supply Chain for special repairs, maintenance or modification of equipment or facility. Support a safe workplace with a commitment towards zero injuries.
Lift Truck Operator
JOB SUMMARY: Operation of a forklift to move materials, finished goods, and equipment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand written/oral instructions Follow work instruction and procedures Understand safe handling of heavy materials Be able to drive a forklift and other lift trucks Record appropriate production records, weigh up and scan material in the computer Comply with Portland Forge’s ethics and compliance policies Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Tool Set
Responsible for setting up and tearing down of dies and equipment. Must be able to understand forging prints and written specifications Stamp and repair dies and equipment Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Ability to plan and organize. Capability to perform other jobs. Must have coordination and physical ability to perform job. Ability to check equipment, before and after running, for flaws in equipment or dies. Proper handling of equipment, hot or cold.
Quality Engineer
Located at our Portland facility Quality responsibilities focus on products produced at the Portland Indiana facility. New Product Launch responsibilities cover all products produced at our Lebanon Kentucky and Portland Indiana facilities. Position Responsibilities: · Maintaining Document Control records · Auditing Quality Management System · Own and maintain Quality Planning Checklist · Managing production part approval process · Work directly with a cross-functional team of sales, engineering, supply chain, QA, and operations to launch new products on-time and to the customer specifications. · Submit weekly NPI (New Product Introduction) status updates to key company members. · Responsible for quality and delivery KPI’s of new product launch · Magnaflux and CMM experience a plus Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in a technical related field · Minimum 3-5 years of industrial experience · Results-oriented and dedicated personality with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities · Data presentation, communication, and organizational skills · Strong analytical skills to resolve difficult problems effectively and implement long term solutions. · Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task · Attention to detail. · Up to 25% travel

Production Supervisor
Located at our Portland facility DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Schedule production units to meet forging requirements. Direct hourly employees in their production duties. Write work orders for equipment repair, care, and maintenance of dies. Recommend changes to Engineers, as necessary, relating to production dies, troubleshooting. Make schedule changes to minimize downtime. Monitor employees for proper use of safety equipment and employee’s safety training. Accountable for meeting production schedules, proper training of personnel, quality and productivity, and the safety of employees. Implement and administer Portland Forges’ ethics and compliance policies. Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned.
