POSITION REQUIREMENTS / CRITERIA: (EDUCATION LEVEL, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING,
Associate Degree or equivalent in HR related field preferred, or equivalent experience will be required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Knowledge of applicable federal/state regulations as they relate to HR
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
Must maintain high level of confidentiality
Ability to get along with people and work well in a team
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Overtime as required
KEY JOB DUTIES
Serve as primary contact for all leaves of absence requests (FMLA, Non-Medical and ADA).
Track all leave of absence information in TAM (Total Absence Management) Tracking System for the duration of
the leave through return to work.
Act as the liaison with employees and management to ensure that questions, concerns, changes/updates for leave
of absence are communicated accordingly.
Maintain a thorough understanding and working knowledge of the current Federal Family and Medical Leave Act
Maintain and follow all changes to the Federal regulations pertaining to the Family and Medical Leave Act.
Advise, counsel and educate managers on employee leave and ADA situations.
Administer various employee benefits programs such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and
vision, accident and disability, life insurance and 401(K) programs.
Conduct Benefit orientations.
Assist employees with benefit claims.
Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
Develop, implement, support, and review all HR Department initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems
Maintain awareness and understand the roles and responsibilities regarding the environmental policies,
management system, and objectives and targets by attending the required training. Perform all tasks in accordance
with the EMS procedures and practices and minimize the impact of their activities on the environment.
