HR Specialist

Department: 007101 – Human Resources
Location: Lebanon, KY
Shift: Salary (8am – 5pm)

**Job Summary:**
The HR Specialist performs human resources-related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new employees, employee relations, community relations, internal and external advertising and communication, employment concerns, investigations and corrective actions.

**Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
– Proven experience working as an HR Specialist or in a similar role.
– Strong understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
– Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
– Detail-oriented and organized approach to work.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Coordinate or assist with all aspects of the recruiting and onboarding process, including advertising, scheduling interviews and conducting pre-employment checks.
  • Complete various HR-related reporting.
  • >Serve as a point of contact for employees on human resources policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for all internal and external advertising and social media communications.
  • Responsible for company related communication to team members – benefits, company events, awards, etc.
  • Assist with employee relations matters and respond to employee inquiries
  • Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations.
  • Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for additions/updates to the TG Intranet page.
  • Company representative for Community events.
