Overview

St. Catharine Motherhouse is seeking a dedicated Cook/Food Prep Worker to join our culinary team. This role helps ensure meals are prepared safely, efficiently, and with care. If you enjoy working with food and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen, we’d love to meet you!

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients (washing, chopping, measuring)

Assist with menu planning & meal prep

Maintain a clean, organized kitchen

Operate kitchen tools safely

Collaborate with the culinary team for timely service

Follow recipes for consistent quality

Assist with catering events

Monitor inventory & help order supplies

Experience Preferred

Dietary department or dietary aide experience

Menu planning or cooking background

Knowledge of food safety regulations

Restaurant or kitchen experience

Strong knife skills

Detail-oriented & team-oriented attitude
