Job Summary:
Cleans in the Food Service Department following all cleaning schedules, sanitary , and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
* Able to read, write, and follow instructions.
* Must be willing to cooperate with superviors, co-workers, and other department heads.
* Able to work well with residents and family members of residents.
* Must possess a high degree of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
* Must pass pre-employment screenings: drug screen and conviction record
* Must complete TB skin test per policy

Essential Job Duties:
Follows cleaning assignments as scheduled
* Clean bathroom
*Clean furniture and carts, clean, clean window sills and blinds, vents, etc
*Dry mop and wet mop all assigned areas. Deep clean floors and baseboards.
*Clean rugs and under equipment/shelving
*Clean kitchen equipment per instructions
*TAke trash out of storage areas to the dumpters

Assist with kitchen duties:
Wash dishes and put away in appropriate place
Assist with inventory stock and organizing stockroom
Other duties as assigned by

Additional Responsibilities
* Report all repairs needed to Environmental Services Director
*Must wear proactive equipment (gloves, googles, aprons, etc) and follow SDS (Safety Data Sheets) guidance
*Take pride in keeping a clean work environment
*Promote and support person centered care.
Working Conditions:
Subject to constant stooping, bending, lifting up to 50lbs, climbing on ladder, pulling and pushing carts, standing and walking 100%  of the time. Exposed to heat, cold and a variety of cleaning chemicals

Working Hours: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 12:30 PM to 5 PM
