Compensation: $22-$25 an hour, based on experience
Job Description
The Fabricator/Welder role requires a qualified candidate who can fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts using various
methods and fit and assemble these machined parts into complete units. In addition, this role is responsible for (under minimal
supervision) setting up and operating CNC machines, skilled precision, and bench work in the fabrication, maintenance, repair,
and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools, and equipment.
Fabricator/Welder Primary Job Functions:
Welding parts & products
Mig/Tig and stick weld on a variety of materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum
Interpret drawings to fabricate parts per blueprint (be able to read and build from drawings)
Lay out positions, align, and fit components together
Operating machinery & tools
Other duties as necessary
Fabricator/Welder Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is preferred
Strong fabrication skills to create or modify existing equipment.
Strong knowledge of welding, machining, cutting, shaping, and other metal shop equipment.
Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.
Must be able to read blueprints
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
Commitment to safe, quality workmanship
Can work with minimal supervision from the manager
Work efficiently and skillfully with hands
Good attendance and attention to detail
