Job Summary:
The Environmental Service Aide is responsible for cleaniess and sanitation in laundry.
equipment and supplies in good order at all times.
Qualifications:
*Able to read, write, and follow instructions.
* Must be willing to cooperate with supervisors, co-workers and other department heads.
* Able to work well with residents and family members of residents.
* Must possess a high degree of personal cleanliness and hygience.
* Must pass pre-employment screenings drug screen and conviction record
*Must complete TB Skin Test per policy
Essential Job Duties:
Housekeeping
* Clean all bathrooms.
* Damp dust furniture, empty waste containers, clean window sills and blinds, etc.
* Dry mop and wet mop all assiged areas.
*Straigntened common areas. etc,
* Follow prescribed checklist for ddesignated areas.
Laundry
*Assisted in washing, ironing, folding, stacking, hanging laundry
* Assist in cleaning the laundry and caring for equipment.
*Follow prescribed checklist for designated areas.
Additional Responsibilities 
* Report all repairs needed to Environmental Services Director
* Must wear protective equipment (gloves, goggles, aprons, etc) and follow SDS (Safety Data Sheets) guidance
* Take pride in keeping a clean work environment
* Promote and support person centered care.
Working Conditions:
Subject to constant stooping, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, pulling carts, standing and walking 100% of the time. Exposed to heat, cold and a variety of cleaning chemicals.
Working Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 6:30 AM 11:00 AM
