Bachelor’s Degree. Teaching certificate preferred.
Experience in education is preferred.
Demonstrate Knowledge of current curriculum and instructional trends and techniques.

Positions: Summary:
Provide instruction to GED students in Marion, Washington, Nelson, and Meade Counties.

District and School Priority Alignment
Align actions with distict and school values and core priorities.
Evaluated based on the efficacy of aligned actions.

Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrates regular attendance and punctuality and adheres to the appropriate code of ethics.
Performs other duties consistent with the position assigned as may be requested by the superintendent.ย 

Performance and Responsibilities
Provide virtual and/or onsite instruction to GED students across the adult education region.
Maintain up -to-date data records and provide regular reports to the state level adult education office.
Research and create appropriate instructional materials needed for adult education programs.ย 
Unite with the community to explore and create workforce training opportunities for adluts and industry.ย 
Ensure routine calendar control and care to ensure time is leveraged towards priorities.
Collaborate and connect with Community Partners to unite people, place, and purpose.
Explicitly state and model beliefs as a building leader.
Demonstrate a commiment to professional growth.
Demonstrate punctuality and regular attendance.ย 
Maintain appropriate professinal apprearance.
Adhere to the appropriate ccde and ethics.
Preform other duties as assigned by Superintendent or designee.

Physical Demands
Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
Communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
Use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
Bending, squatting, crawling, reaching, with the ablity to lift, carry, push or pull light weights.ย
