Job Description

The Brand Home Director at Jefferson’s Bourbon reports directly reports to the Senior Director of Brand Homes and Visitor Centers at Pernod Ricard USA. This is a highly dynamic leader that develops and manages our current Brand Home in Lebanon, KY and future destinations. The business unit will be managed through a standardized approach and systems driving consumer and trade recruitment but also monetizing our brand equity via hospitality and retail experiences. Driving and delivering consumer/guest experience and enabling the group to deliver and maximize opportunity – marketing that generates revenue.

Roles & Responsibilities

– Serve as the Brand Home Director across our hospitality and guest experiences driving planning and performance across 2 core areas:

  • Business Strategy – Long term strategy and annual growth initiatives.
  • Operational Management – ensuring profit driving while delivering quality brand experiences.

– End-to-End Business Ownership to deliver Annual Operating Plan.

– Execution of codified operational model/ playbook.

– Create and deliver best in class consumer and trade experiences across the unique sites.

– Visionary leadership and management of Brand Home/Hospitality Employees and Agency Partners (Asst. Managers, Tour Guides, Retail, etc.).

– Assist in creating marketing plans and paid media campaigns that are consistent with brand positioning and plans:

  • increase the number of visitors
  • increase spend per person
  • convert visitors to loyal customers via specialty programs like Barrel and Loyalty

– Lead business reviews with key Executive Stakeholders.

– Work cross functionally with several key stakeholders including Supply, Brand Teams, Finance and Operations.

– Connect to other Pernod-Ricard and KDA Brand Homes.

– Additionally, serve as a passionate advocate for building Jefferson’s brand, distillery, and brand home reputation in the markets where our Brand Homes & Destinations exist.

Skills & Requirements

  • Demonstrated P&L responsibility
  • Strong analytical skills – the ability of conduct detailed financial analysis to understand areas of opportunity and growth
  • Luxury & lifestyle retail experience – strong background in retail, either within the industry or within other retail sectors
  • People Management – experience managing large teams with very different skill sets
  • Merchandising and Marketing Experience – 5+ years experience in brand marketing or luxury/lifestyle retail
  • Strategic thinking – the ability to identify new opportunities to grow the business
  • Working Saturdays and some evenings is critical when events are scheduled

Education & Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Tourism, Recreation, etc.
  • MBA (Preferred)


  • Brand Management: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Team leadership: 4 years

The salary range for this role, based in Kentucky ​ is $143,600 to $179,500 range will vary if outside of this location.  Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
