TG Kentucky, LLC Lebanon, KYTG Kentucky is currently seeking applications for an experienced:Technical Engineering Manager SUMMARY The Technical Engineering Manager/Asst. Manager directs and coordinates activities related to planning, developing, implementing, and improving of all equipment and processes required for manufacturing. Keeps next level of management informed of any problems and/or issues by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Develop and manage Hoshin, Budgets, Tamazume and KPI as required to meet company SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES The Technical Engineering Manager/Asst. Manager manages all employees of the engineering department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong project management skills including negotiation experience of projects greater than $1 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline and a minimum of 5 years in engineering role – preferably with leadership experience. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Clear, concise written and verbal skills and problem solving skills required. Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, and standards. Ability to speak effectively before groups of team members. TECHNICAL SKILLS Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, and Project experience Skilled in using AutoCAD or other drafting software MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Principles of calculus, trigonometry, thermodynamics, and other advanced topics in math for analysis, design, and troubleshooting are necessary. Ability to perform high level mathematical calculations and to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, and sampling theory. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several variables. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED WORK HOURS This is a full-time position and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime throughout the week and weekend may be required as job duties demand.
