Job Description : Diageo’s purpose is to celebrate life every day, everywhere. The Diageo Lebanon Distillery is the newest addition to Diageo’s North American distillery portfolio. The Bulleit brand is undergoing significant growth and this is a key role in ensuring we continue to craft high quality whiskey to meet consumer demands. The Diageo Lebanon Site Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative, Human Resources, compliance and engagement support to distillery, DDG dry house and warehousing operations personnel. This role reports directly to the Diageo Lebanon Site Director. Key Accountabilities • Drive a culture of safety ownership, with a continuous focus on improving safe work practices • Identify, prioritize and provide resources to assist the site in meeting site goals and objectives. • Support diverse, highly engaged, salaried site staff responsible for all aspects of distillation, dry house and warehousing operations for continuous operations in a safe, quality focused atmosphere. • Represents Diageo Lebanon site for front line HR related activities and works with other U.S. site Administrative/HR Coordinators. May also be required to cross-support other sites as backfill. • Manage hiring process for the recruitment and onboarding of new employees. Activities to include, but not limited to; recruitment, interviewing, background checks, hiring, onboarding, orientation, training, compliance. These activities will constitute a significant portion of the role at outset supporting startup of site. • Purchase order creation and payment management including support on capital expenditure projects. • Coordinates, communicates, and tracks training compliance (training record) activities across site. • Lead plant engagement initiatives at the site including Brand Passion events, committees and town halls. • Prepares special or one-time reports, summaries, or replies to inquiries, selecting relevant information from a variety of sources. • Anticipates and prepares materials needed for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings, • Greets site visitors and is first point of contact for inquiries from the public. • Maintains site calendar (visitors, events, celebrations, vacations, out-of-office, holidays). • In partnership with site risk manager, coordinates, communicates and tracks compliance activities across the site. • Support KPI tracking and focused improvement activities • Support Diageo’s industry leading environmental initiatives in reduction of water, power and steam usage • Understanding of distillery quality standards • Contribute to sensory taste panel for whiskey distillate • Develop and execute budget for; site engagement activities, site supplies, training Qualifications Required Education and Experience • Must be at least 21 years of age • Bachelors’ Degree in Business or related field. Will consider military with relevant experience. • 5+ years’ experience in a Human Resources or Site Administrator role in an operations environment • Experience developing schedules and managing budgets • SAP and or Coupa system experience desired • Must have an intense sense of ownership and a strong desire to understand the entire bourbon process. Required Competencies • Proficient computer literacy with ability to utilize the Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, must be able to establish rapport with all levels of the team • Self-motivated, driven to see a task through to completion • Must be detail oriented with high level of accuracy • Ability to work in fast-paced, agile and flexible environment with changing priorities Worker Type : Regular Primary Location: Lebanon Additional Locations :
