POSITION REQUIREMENTS / CRITERIA: (EDUCATION LEVEL, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, DIMENSIONS, ETC.)
An Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, or proof of current enrollment in Industrial Maintenance classes with an expected completion date of 1 semester, must be provided in order to schedule an interview. or
- 5+ years relevant experience and currently enrolled & pursuing an Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance
- 8+ years relevant experience / Technical training in the industrial maintenance field
- 5+ years relevant experience / Technical training and a diploma
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedule to meet dept. needs (Includes: weekends, off shifts, Holidays, split shifts)
- Ability to use shop tools /equipment
- Overtime as required
- Self motivated
- Must be including to attend continuing education courses including off-site training programs
KEY JOB DUTIES
- Complete preventive maintenance on machines including equipment in shop (ex. Pumps, TCU’s, cables)
- Change oil and filters, grease machines
- Check electrical connections
- Check and change belts
- Pull injection screws, clean and measure
- Change air filters
- Visual monthly checks on equipment
- Closing out PM Work orders
- Assist in maintenance breakdowns if needed
- Manage work activity using JDE system
- Report daily activities with co-workers and supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
